My Usual Process
Understand
I start by understanding what needs to be built, who will use it, what references already exist, and what technical limitations I need to work around.
Plan
Before getting too far into the code, I figure out the page structure, reusable parts, data flow, and how everything should behave on different screen sizes.
Build
Then I build it step by step, checking the actual result against the design and requirements instead of leaving all the fixes for the end.
Check
Before I call it done, I test the important screen sizes and interactions, fix edge cases, and go through the details that are easy to miss during development.
